River Kim is a queer Korean artist and writer based in Chicago who creates for liberatory imagination. Their multi-media work centers around making the invisible, legible. As someone with a social disability, they use creation as a catharsis, inviting a collective reckoning with what words often cannot do justice to.
Their current projects include text-based installation works writing poetry on clock faces, art commissions for local film sets, and a new hobby of crochet creations for art markets.
