River Kim is a queer Korean artist based in Chicago who creates for liberatory imagination. Their multi-media work centers around making the invisible, legible. As someone with a social disability, they use creation as a catharsis, inviting a collective reckoning with what words often cannot do justice to. They are a current undergraduate student at Northwestern University, a fellow at the Art Institute of Chicago, and a co-director of the ABLE Initiative.
